Morning After

Good morning/afternoon,

Sorry for the delayed update but they wouldn't allow us to see him before 10am this morning. We did just see him and am sitting with him now. He seems much better than the last time we saw him Day 2. Today he was much more alert and with us. They were able to get the breathing tube out so he can talk, but he's got a little bit of a raspy voice. He has been pretty nauseous and can't keep much down, but that is pretty normal after being sedated for so long they say.

He is in some pain this morning but doesn't seem too bad, which is impressive after what happened yesterday. He's a strong man and very brave for being willing to face this again. I can't tell you all how proud I am of my ol' man. I sure hope I can have that determination and guts that he does.

He probably wont be ready for phone calls or visitors until maybe tomorrow, but I'll have to leave that up to my Mom and Dad. I'll post maybe again tonight but I have to head back to Fort Collins to finish up my last final exam tomorrow.
