Round 2

Hey All,

Looks like we're back at it - but planned this time. The best way I've heard it described was that last time (November 10'), they were fixing the leak and now today they are fixing the pipe. What he is having done today is a replacement of the Aortic arch which requires another long open heart surgery. This surgery is not emergency but something that needs to be done.

The surgery is taking place at Porter Adventist Hospital and he just went back to start as of 10 minutes ago. The same surgeron (Dr. Gouber) will be doing the surgery again and we feel like he has the best team in place working on him. He will probably be in ICU for the remainder of the week just under supervision and care of the great doctors and nurses here.

My Mom (Leslie) has asked that she kind of be separated from all the updates at least for today, and leave that up to me and my Aunt Gretchen. Right now what we need most is just your everlasting support and prayer. We are so so grateful for the wonderful people in our lives and all of the support we get in these times. Praise God for that.
